Census Bureau TIGER Files
The US Census Bureau Provides a series of digital geographic information layers known as the Topographically Integrated Geographic Encoded and Referencing (TIGER) files. These files include layers for roads, streams, political boundaries, landmarks and census geography boundaries such as blocks, tracks and metropolitan Statistical area (MSAs). We have compiled the Census tracts for all the 31 county area of the MEC study with the associated demographic variables to create a series of thematic maps to illustrate the social makeup of the region. The links above right will let you view some of these maps. |
